Who says that you can’t celebrate Christmas when you’re in college? Sure, it might be a little harder, but there are plenty of ways to get into the Christmas spirit, even while you’re neck-deep in homework. Here are a few to get you started…

  1. Get a tiny, adorable tree for your dorm room…complete with twinkly lights.
  2. Speaking of twinkly lights — put them everywhere!
  3. Write a Christmas list…your mom probably doesn’t know what to get you anyway!
  4. Find out what Christmas events are happening on campus & attend!
  5. Go caroling in your hall.
  6. Participate in a Secret Santa exchange.
  7. Decorate your own stocking with your roommate.
  8. Go to the mall and get your picture taken with Santa!
  9. Watch Elf…an infinite amount of times.
  10. Get crafty and DIY some awesome gifts for your friends.
  11. Go ice skating.
  12. Visit a Christmas tree farm.
  13. Find a live nativity at a local church and check it out with your friends.
  14. Decorate Christmas cookies and deliver them to your floor mates.
  15. Do you want to build a snowman?
  16. DIY an advent calendar for you and your roommate.
  17. Listen to Christmas carols while you’re studying.
  18. Online shop for presents for your family & friends.
  19. Drive or walk around to look at the Christmas lights.
  20. You’re never too old to write a letter to Santa!
  21. Drink hot cocoa with marshmallows, of course.
  22. Make a paper chain to countdown to Christmas.
  23. Tune into ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas.
  24. Take family Christmas pictures with your friends.
  25. Read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas with your roommate before bed.
  26. Create your own DIY ornament.
  27. Take turns doing an Elf on the Shelf in your dorm room with your roommate.
